Film industy was shocked with the sudden demise of well known actor Srihari. He died in Leelavati hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday evening after prolonged illness. He went to Mumbai for the shooting of a movie and fell ill there. He was admitted to the hospital where doctors tried in vain to save the 49 years old actor. Srihari who was born on August 15, 1949 came into limelight a decade ago with his wonderful action both as a hero and character artists. None can forget his wonderful action in Maghadheera along with Ram Charan. He has recently acted in Thoofan movie also along with Ram Charan. None can forget his action in Dhee movie which has become a big hit.
He started out in Telugu cinema as a stunt fighter and subsequently went on to do some notable lead roles. He was born and brought up in Balanagar, Hyderabad, he is one of most well-known actors and highest paid character artist in the Telugu film industry. After some years, he was introduced by well-known director Dasari Narayana Rao in 1986.
His first movie as a hero was Police. His movies got the best openings for small budget films in the 1990s. He married Disco Shanti and has two sons and one daughter. Unfortunately he lost his daughter, Akshara, at the age of four months. In the remembrance of his daughter he started the Akshara Foundation. He also adopted four villages in Medchal village, inspiring many colleagues to take up charitable activities.
