Chiranjeevi Acharya Allu Arjun Pushpa Movie ClashMegastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa are slated to release in December. The latter has officially announced its date (December 17th), whereas the former is yet to take a call. Meanwhile, an unofficially circulating date is causing distress online among Mega fans. The whole charade is making the trade wonder, why clash in the first place?

The unofficial release date doing the rounds for Acharya is December 17th, which is the same as Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa. The catchphrase ‘Taggede Le’ is getting a whole new meaning. It is creating furore online with internal clashes among the ‘Mega’ fans.

But none seems to think if December 17th is a suitable date to fight over it and go for a clash. It is a non-holiday release, for starters.

Secondly, a Hollywood biggie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, is also releasing on the same day. Usually, it won’t be a problem; however, in the case of Spider-Man, it is coming with tremendous hype. It will get a good number of screens in multiplexes all over Telugu states.

Thirdly, the Christmas holiday season in the US is huge for local (Hollywood) movies. This year, it will be more so as audiences are coming out in numbers post ‘Corona’.

Remember, in the past, how Bharat Ane Nenu got affected due to the Avengers movie? Well, that was summer, imagine the situation in winter for Christmas. Two Telugu biggies at the same time would be a big blunder for both box-office wise considering the huge money riding on them.

The problem here is RRR coming for Sankranthi 2022. It means if one movie is postponed, it has to go all the way to March-end (as Feb is a dull period). It is the reason why December is favoured. But, the season is not favourable for two Telugu biggies. The same family angle makes it worse. Let’s wait and see what the two teams decide in the end.
