The theatrical trailer of the much-awaited Acharya starring the father and son pair of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, is finally out. Koratala Siva directs the movie, and it promises an action feast from the father-son duo for the fans and movie lovers.
But, first things first, what stands out are the visuals. Thiru has done excellent work considering the commercial mass movie format. At the same time, the artwork is brilliant. A village (Dharmasthali) seems to have come alive based on the trailer.
Then coming to the eagerly awaited duo, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, they are terrific individually and together. Together they have been utilised heavily in action, and it all looks fabulous.
It is the director’s aspect that is a little underwhelming, considering all the things that have worked. The dialogues somehow lack the spark, leading to a missing high moment. It is why the rest of the elements are dominating. The typical Koratala Siva punch is the glaringly missing element here. The same is true with Mani Sharma’s background score, although it isn’t on the same level.
Check out the trailer below. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are the female leads in the movie. Sonu Sood is seen playing the villain. Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Productions jointly produce Acharya. It is all set for a grand release worldwide on April 29th.
