Actor Sonu Sood has earned a special place in the hearts of the people by doing his part to help many who were in trouble during the lockdown. Sonu, who has acted as a villain in many Telugu films, has become a hero in real life.
He is currently playing a pivotal role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya as the protagonist. Sonu will be seen in the role of a baddie in the film, which is directed by Koratala Shiva. “Now I am getting opportunities for hero roles. I have already received four wonderful scripts. Going forward, I will not do Villain characters. I shall welcome this new beginning,” Sonu Sood said in an interview.
“Recently I participated in Acharya shoot. An action sequence was shot between me and Chiranjeevi said. Chiru Sir came to me during the shoot – ‘You have served many people and have a good place in the hearts of the people. I find it embarrassing to hit you in action scenes. People will be angry with me if I hit you’. Also in one scene, Chiru sir has to put his foot on me. We also reshot it,” Sonu Sood said.
The team of Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Alludu Adhurs also reshot similar sequences owing to Sonu Sood’s latest image.
