The third single from Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited Acharya is out. It is called ‘Saana Kastam’ and is a mass item number in typical Mani Sharma style.
Right from the first single ‘Laahe Laahe‘ there has been an attempt to recreate the vintage magic of the Chiranjeevi and Mani Sharma combo. It has resulted in mixed results instantly but in the long run, the songs have proved to be better with the listeners.
The third single ‘Saana Kastam‘ too follows the same trajectory as far as the initial reaction is considered. However, it doesn’t look like it will have a late pickup, mainly due to the very old-world style of the music. It is fine for a melody, for a peppy mass number, it might not be the case.
The glimpse of the video, however, gives a different impression. It looks like a winner if placed in the right situation. The presence of Regina Cassandra adds freshness. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s grace as usual is the saving ‘grace’ musically with lyrical videos.
