Aamir Khan has quite assertively declared for some time now that he is not associated with any political party. However, this has not stopped the Aam Aadmi Party to misappropriate his photos and use it for the party’s promotional purposes. Vexed by this move, Aamir has resorted to write to the Election Commission to make it clear that he is not a part of any political party. Aamir’s spokesperson says that he will not be campaigning for or supporting any particular political party and has made it clear from the day one.
In the meantime, it was touted that Aamir will soon joining the ranks of President A P J Abdul Kalam, cricketer M S Dhoni, badminton player Saina Nehwal and boxer Mary Kom to become one of the national icons of Election Commission. But this seems to be put on hold for now since “some issues” withhold him from being signed on before the Election begins.
