A ‘Mind Block’ ing Day Ahead From SLN Team

The ‘Mass’ MB (Mahesh Babu, in case you didn’t get) mania is all set to commence from today (December 2nd). The first single from the album will be out in the evening. It is aptly titled ‘Mind Block’.

The wish of the fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu is getting fulfilled at every turn with the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru. They wanted a mass film; they have it. They wanted an energetic Superstar, they have, and now it is the turn of the music. While Dookudu was the last film to have all that and succeed, it was Aagadu which is the ‘last’ such release from the star. It all had these elements in place. Since then, there has been an understatedness in all the movies.

But, given the current form of Devi Sri Prasad, fans of the superstar are a bit sceptical. As mentioned previously, Devi Sri Prasad has scored back to back films starring Mahesh Babu. But, they have been successful post the release, due to the content of the movie. The songs weren’t that big before release.

It is in this aspect that everyone is hoping ‘Mind Block’ throws a surprise and lives up the title of the lyrics. ‘Mind Block’ already gives a massy vibe, and if it delivers, the craze on the movie is sure to be multiplied. With the Christmas and New Year period ahead, hit songs means, they would get played big-time across the Telugu states.

Watch this space in a few hours from now to see if ‘Mind Block’ is indeed mind-blocking. The Anil Ravipudi directorial Sarileru Neekevvaru is all set to hit screens in a record number of theatres on January 11th.
