A Look At Saaho Competition: Who Gets To Loose Most?A triangular fight is confirmed for Independence Day in Bollywood when Saaho is slated to hit screens worldwide and in multiple languages simultaneously. The other releases are Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House.

Actually, the two Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and John Abraham has clashed with each other last year for the same Independence Day holiday. Both the movies emerged as the biggest openers in their careers at that which made them immediately lock the same period of 2019.

In a way, the clash was similar this year as well until Saaho jumped in the fray. Mission Mangal aided by R Balki is the multiplex deal whereas Batla House is John’s mass outing although we have to wait for an official teaser to confirm the same.

Saaho by virtue of its enormous budget caters to both the segments, the classy plexes as well as the single screen masses. It also has Prabhas coming after the two Baahubali movies. Enough has been heard and will be said in the coming days. But, the film that will actually lose with its arrival is Batla House starring John Abraham.

Batla House, if it’s the mould of Romeo Akbar Walter and not Satyamev Jayate then it is bound to fail as the multiplex will avoid it for Mission Mangal and in single screens, it will be the second choice. But, there is also a talk that Mission Mangal will have limited star presence, it means the same fate could be right in case of mixed talk. But, given R Balki’s critical stature and the subject, it is ruled out currently.

Batla House arriving week later would be ideal for better commercial prospects, is what the trade is expecting. Let’s see if the makers see the point in that or go ahead with total disdain regarding Saaho.
