Starring actors like Vijay, Kajal, Vidyut and others, Thupakki, the film about a resolute army officer who on his vacation unfolds some plans regarding a serial blasts operation in Mumbai and is determined to stop it, is not only receiving very favourable feedbacks from its audience, but is also doing very well if the figures are anything to go by. Thuppakki has been bringing in astonishing collections in its first weekend of release at Tamilnadu Box Office with collection centres garnering about 11.03 crores on the release day itself.
Following the success of the film, Ilayathalapathy arranged an impressive party in his house for the whole team of “Thuppakki” which included a special invitation to Vidyut Jamwal, the antagonist of the movie who accepted the invitation with great respect and flew down to the city to attend the party. Madan Karky went on to post on his Twitter page last night “Hearty thanks to actor Vijay & Mrs. Vijay for being splendid hosts in tonight’s #thuppakki success party. Happy to meet the team.”
