Vijay Deverakonda is struck with Liger for a very long time. The actor was last seen in World Famous Lover which was released in February last year. It’s been sixteen months after the movie release, Vijay’s next, Liger did not even complete its shoot.
The team needs to go to the United States for a two weeks schedule to shoot the portions involving Mike Tyson. The schedule has become complicated because of the restrictions on commercial flights from India. But then, here is good news for Vijay Deverakonda.
The US Administration has decided to allow fully vaccinated foreign travelers into the country from November 8th. The fully vaccinated visitors need not quarantine upon arrival. Liger team is in the process of vaccinating all its cast and crew with Covishield since Covaxin is not yet recognized by the USFDA or the WHO.
They are trying to get the Visas as soon as possible and wrap up the schedule. Vijay Deverakonda will quickly finish Liger and will move to his next project. Liger will release in 2022, the actor had already announced. The decision on the release date will be taken once the shooting will be completed.
