After a buoyant and joyous ‘Naatu Naatu’, team RRR stumped everyone with the sombre and emotional ‘Janani’ update next. The new single from RRR is out, and it is as poignant and moving as one would expect coming from SS Rajamouli.
To anyone who has been following SS Rajamouli, it would be clear that he makes the best of the two traditional masala elements well. They are the villain (antagonist) and the core drama (emotions). They are always supercharged and provide a great balance to heroism. We get a glimpse of that with ‘Janani’ single.
MM Keeravani provides a soulful tune that is situational in nature but emotionally rich in appeal. As always, SS Rajamouli provides depth to the themes with visuals. After the teaser, we get another set of visuals from RRR. Here it is all emotional and dramatic.
Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Shriya are all seen in ‘Janani’ visual glimpse. They are all seen at their dramatic best in the shots selected for the video. Remember, the visuals are without any context and used with the music. Imagine the impact when the ‘context’ is also in place. This is what the writer of the movie, Vijayendra Prasad, has been mentioning all along.
