As informed earlier, a film in the combination of director Surender Reddy and Ram is in works. The talks are still going on, and things are expected to take a definite shape in the coming days.
However, nothing can be confirmed until the movie goes on to sets. There is a reason behind it, too. In the past, that is, almost a decade earlier, a film in the same combo (Ram and Surender Reddy) was announced. There was even a press meet for the same. However, it couldn’t get onto sets and was shelved, at the last moments.
Surender Reddy went ahead with the same script and made Oosaravelli with Jr NTR. It had a different title when Ram was the hero.
Now, almost a decade later, when Ram and Surender Reddy are expected to come together, one can’t help but feel a little bit of apprehension. If it materializes, Ram would have a perfect follow up to his Red.
Surender Reddy is joining hands with his favourite Vakkantam Vamshi for the project with Ram. According to the buzz doing the rounds, the characterization of the hero is expected to be unique like their previous outings together.
Surender Reddy and Vakkantam Vamshi are hoping to come up with a fresh and original blockbuster next. The former had Sye Raa and Dhruva previously. They were not his unique ideas. Similarly, the later failed big time with his directorial debut Naa Peru Surya.
