Remixing an old classic is a trend that has been on for decades. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan himself has had a few in his early career. But, the extreme care and love in remixing the classic were reflected in those songs. And the result was recreations were also winners.
However, the same can’t be said about many other latest remixes. Neither the soul nor the spirit of the original is captured. The latest one to join the list is “Ee Manase” from the evergreen love story Tholi Prema.
The small film Mismatch has done the deeds of remixing the song from Tholi Prema. It doesn’t work from the word go. The music quality and singer choice are poor. Anyone who is a fan of the original would find it hard to complete the song on one-go. But, there is always a new generation to like, and that could be the target here as well.
Pawan Kalyan has launched the remix song giving some additional buzz to the movie and the team. Mismatch stars Uday Shankar and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead. NV Nirmal Kumar directs the film which is slated to hit the screens on December 6th.
