7 Censor Cuts for Liger!Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is announced for release on the 25th of this month and the promotional campaign is in full swing for the action thriller which is based on the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

Coming to the topic, the censor for the Hindi version of Liger was held today.

The censor board has mandated a total of 7 cuts for the final copy of Liger’s Hindi version. The majority of the cuts are for the usage of cuss words, predominately “f*ck” and understandably so.

It has been accredited with a U/A certificate though. The finally copy has a runtime of around 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes) which is a crisp tally for a commercial potboiler. Puri appears to be keeing things crisp this time around with Liger.

Liger is headed for release next weekend and Vijay is busy touring all across India as a part of the promotional campaign. The film is expected to pull the masses to the theaters in big numbers, given the massy theme.
