Bollywood actress Kajol did only one film in Tail, way back in 1997 with Prabhudeva in ‘Minsara Kanavu’ (dubbed as ‘Merupu Kalalu’ into Telugu). After almost 19 years, one more Tamil filmmaker approached the senior actress for an important role in the film.
The film is ‘Velai Illa Pattadhari 2’ (VIP 2), the sequel of ‘VIP’ (Raghuvaran B Tech). According to a report in an English tabloid, the actress was offered a whopping Rs.4 crore to make her comeback to Tamil movies. Is it really worth to offer such a huge amount to a 42-year-old actress?
Kajol isn’t doing any back to back films and Tamil audiences might have forgotten her long back as she did only one film and that wasn’t a super hit either. Of course, the actress hasn’t made anything official yet and the makers are said to be waiting for her to accept the offer.
