Suriya is one of the Star heroes who seems to be doing back-to-back films without much gap between his films. After NGK, he moved on to his next being helmed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Guru’ fame. Recently, the film went on to the floors and now, we have got to know the heroine of the movie.
Twenty three year old Aparna Balamurali was chosen as the female lead alongside Suriya. As we know that this movie is said to be based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, the makers of the movie wants someone who resembles Gopinath’s wife. According to the reports, Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali has close resemblances with Gopinath’s wife, therefore was chosen for the role to romance a star hero.
It’s not just the resemblance. The actress has impressed the Tamil audiences with her two Tamil films. That could also be the reason for being chosen for a star hero’s movie though she is only two-films old in Kollywood. It was the director, Sudha Kongara’s choice as she better knows who suits the role.
