2014 Best Cop : Mahesh or Pawan?2014 is a fortnight away and it already looks like the year will be dominated by cops on screens. A cursory look at some of the biggest movies that are going to release in the upcoming year will reveal this interesting fact. The first film to start this procession would be the long delayed film Yevadu where actor Allu Arjun will be seen playing the role of a cop in a guest appearence according to the sources. The actor will once again be seen in a cop uniform in his big solo release, Race Gurram as well, if one were to go by the rumors doing the rounds in the industry.

However the three major films that will be beginning regular shooting soon where the stars would be essaying the police roles are Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh 2, Mahesh Babu starrrer Aagadu and the yet untitled film starring Ravi Teja directed by the debutant Bobby. All these three films are keenly awaited in the coming year and have the lead actors playing the role of a police.

Among these three biggies two starring Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan are the most hyped ventures already. Pawan Kalyan has a mixed bag with police role as he failed big time with his first outing Puli but scored in a big with his Gabbar Singh cop act. On the other hand Mahesh Babu has had a midas touch as far as his tyrst with police uniform goes. All the films where the actor was seen wearing a Khaki has been big box office success. Added to this fact that the Mahesh Babu starrer is directed by Srinu Vytla and the Pawan Kalyan starrer is directed by rookie Sampath Nandi the odds are heavily tilted in Mahesh Babu’s favor to score big time with Aagadu. Or is there a twist in the tale with Pawan Kalyan surprising once again? Can Ravi Teja hit it out of the park again after Vikramarkudu? All these along with the fact that they all might have releases back to back in 2014 have made for an interesting competition. Who among the three do you think will entertain more as a cop and who will score big at the box office? Share us your thoughts.
