2.0-Movie-Language-Wise-BO-Collections-Status-UpdateWith multiple language release, various numbers are thrown around on 2.0 with different reporting. One might be confused as to what is happening. Here is an update about the current status of 2.0 in various languages keeping the different reporting methods in mind.

Telugu:

2.0 had an ordinary opening, but it was stable on its second day. The two days collections are around 18 Cr plus SHARE. The third day has not particularly shown any jump; however, there is nothing to worry as well. The weekend estimation from Telugu states is around 30 Cr. The recovery for Telugu version is 70 Cr SHARE worldwide which looks impossible at the moment.

Tamil:

Apart from the US day 1 if there was any other territory that shocked the trade, then it was Tamil Nadu. The film wasn’t even the highest grosser for Superstar Rajinikanth in his home turf. It was second best after Kabali getting slightly above 20 Cr GROSS. The good news is the movie was stable on the second day and is looking at a solid weekend. The problem is it has to go a long way to recover over 180 Cr GROSS.

Hindi:

The Hindi performance has been the most heartening for 2.0. It did not open to shattering or record-breaking number (among Akshay Kumar films) many anticipated. It got to a 20 Cr NETT start. But, the good part is the hold on the second day with only a 10 percent drop. On the third day, 2.0 is poised to get its best day bettering the opening number. The same is expected for Sunday. If the jump is bigger a 90 Cr NETT weekend would be a possibility. And if that happens, 2.0 has every chance to emerge a Hit crossing 150 Cr NETT.

US:

In the US, after a shocking start, 2.0 has picked up on Friday. The Saturday is looking like a “Million” day. It might perhaps be the only movie after the two Baahubali’s to get million in the first weekend after the opening day. Unfortunately, the estimated recovery price for the US market is very high, and 2.0 has to double the opening weekend at the least which looks unlikely of now despite the “million” day joy.
