The 2.0 first look launch event which was promised to be on a truly global scale with simultaneous live telecast across the world was a disaster from the production house. The lack of experience in handling such big events was evident.
Nothing from the actual function was telecast live. All fans got to watch, much to their frustration, they were playing a cold ad. The good thing though is that the posters and actual event that happened had enough content in them to make fans happy.
The first look posters for each character were good. Although the main first look had a generic still, it still was fun and good to see stars from two different industries on the same poster. Also, the basic plotline of the film was revealed through the caption on the poster – The World Is Not For Humans Alone. It clearly suggests an environmental message on the way.
Overall, the producers of the film disappointed the fans big time, making them furious. The director and his team made it up for it. Let’s hope the production team learns from this event and does a better job in future.
