‘2.0’ is in the theatres and is having a decent run though not with a blockbuster talk that is needed for a movie of this gigantic scale. It’s not a memorable film for Amy Jackson who has got a very limited screen presence and even in the limited space, she has nothing to perform except for delivering robotic expressions.
Amy isn’t seen in the promotional activities of ‘2.0‘. It’s only the Superstar Rajanikanth, the director Shankar and the antagonist Akshay Kumar who are seen promoting their film. Looks like, she was kept away from promotions deliberately and if there is a buzz that she feels cheated, it must be true as she might have thought that she was the heroine but has got nothing in the movie except for being in the film for name sake.
Amy Jackson got a meaty role in director Shankar’s previous movie ‘I’ starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead. But, she failed to deliver a believable performance from her side. Many thought that Amy is lucky to bag this ‘2.0’ offer alongside Rajanikanth and back-to-back with director Shankar. However, it was proved that she wasn’t lucky as it was a just a role without even one special moment in the movie.
