After being in the making for months and months together, a first glimpse at what has been shot so far will be arranged tomorrow for India’s biggest budgeted film so far, Ai (Manoharudu). A special screening is being arranged in Chennai tomorrow for selected few from media across the South Indian film industries to showcase the official and final footage from the film. This will therefore be the first time that any such footage will be shown from the Shankar directed epic.
Manoharudu starring Vikram in the lead was launched more than two years ago. It has been in the making ever since with numerous rumors about the plot floating online from time to time. But the real truth is that so far nothing is known about the film or its actual content. This extreme secrecy around the project and its budget, with Shankar at the helm as director, are seen as reasons for the sustained interest on this project even after such a long time in production.
With the footage ready fans are expecting the news of the audio release in September second week too comes true. AR Rahman has provided music for the film and sources say it would be in sync with the grandeur of the film. As things stands today audio of the film is slated to release on September 15. Let’s see if the makers can keep up to this deadline or not.
