On the occasion of the Vinayaka Chaviti team, 18 Pages has come out with a pleasant surprise. The first look of female lead Anupama Parameswaran is out with picturesque locales in the background. However, it also strangely connects to Pushpa and one that might benefit it?
The biggest takeaway from the poster of 18 Pages in the December release. It is so because 18 Pages is an Allu Aravind presentation and a joint production with director Sukumar. The latter is the writer for the movie.
It means 18 Pages and Pushpa, two films with Sukumar’s involvement, will arrive in the same month. It isn’t a big problem anyway. 18 Pages could come in the first half of the month, whereas Pushpa for Christmas as announced. There will be two weeks gap. So, how do 18 Pages benefit Pushpa?
Well, a significant number of theatres allocated for 18 Pages could be used by Pushpa as a continuation. Remember, Pushpa is likely to come amidst some competition. There is a Hollywood biggie arriving a week earlier on December 17th with massive buzz. Having 18 Pages is, therefore, to be on the safe side.
On the other hand, if Pushpa doesn’t make it on time, 18 Pages could be put in its place. Obviously, it won’t be as big a release as Pushpa, but it still helps in covering a small percentage.
