17-Cr-Cheque-Bounce-for-Rajamouli's-MovieThis might look odd but the distributors of Tamil Nadu who distributed the Tamil version of ‘Baahubali 2‘ failed to pay the due amount for the producers of the movie, Arka Media Works. Their cheque has bounced and hence, the producers of the movie initiated legal action against the Tamil Nadu distributors of ‘Baahubali 2’, S. Rajarajan of K productions.

The cheque has bounced due to insufficient funds in the distributors’ account. So, The City Civil Court of Hyderabad ordered the above-mentioned distributor to clear the amount by 26th February or else the bank accounts of Rangarajan would be attached. So, the makers of the film, Arka Media Works have claimed to attach the bank accounts of the Tamil Nadu distributor. Baahubali producers released the legal notice to the press.

A cheque bounce case is a serious financial crime, and most of the people involved in businesses seriously avoid such a thing. Even before the release of ‘Baahubali 2’, there had been issues with the release of the Tamil version as the distributors failed to pay the dues. However, eventually, the film was released and created a sensation. Still, the distributors hadn’t cleared the dues, Rs. 1.17 crores.
