Rana Daggubati as Lt Commander Arjun Varma of the Indian Navy seemed impressive in the recently released trailer of film The Ghazi Attack which is based on the true story of the brave men on Indian Submarine S-21 that had won against PNS Ghazi in 1971.
Starring well known names such as Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Taapsee Pannu, and even Om Puri who recently died of heart attack, The Ghazi Attack brings to the world an untold tale from the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Interestingly, the filmmakers have gone to great lengths to make the film as realistic as possible and the extensive research and development involved a total time of over 1000 hours.
What is left to be seen is whether this research has come to fruition and it is visible in the authenticity of the film or if it just a PR stunt!
