“Killers of the Flower Moon,” directed by Martin Scorsese, premiered with Leonardo. Sara and Leonardo attended several Cannes parties, including the amfAR gala. Sara spoke at the Vanity Fair-sponsored Red Sea Women in Cinema Gala. The occasion was exquisite in a Rachel Gilbert gown.
“I think I learned that every country has its own culture,” Sara told India Today after her first Cannes. We knew this, but seeing the festivities was instructive. I met Leonardo DiCaprio and Saudi, Egyptian, Lebanese, and Parisian actors. Our devotion is universal, regardless of nationality. It proves film crosses national borders.” Sara also joked about wanting to walk the red carpet with Vicky Kaushal or Ryan Gosling.

Her most recent film was Disney+ Hotstar’s “Gaslight,” co-starring Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh. In “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” she plays freedom warrior Usha Mehta on Prime Video. “Kedarnath,” starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput, was Sara’s acting debut in 2018.
