War Creates History On Opening Day

War Creates History On Opening DayBollywood film War has created history on its opening day. The movie has collected nearly 51.5 Cr to become the highest opening film of all-time among Hindi film.

War featured Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead. It was action-heavy, and the presence of both the stars who are loved in the genre led to great curiosity. The teaser and trailer took the expectations to a whole new level.

The previous best opening day of all time was the Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan. It was the first film to collect 50 Cr on its opening day. Incidentally, both the movies belong to the same production house, Yash Raj Films.

More than anyone, Hrithik Roshan heaves a sigh of relief with the record-breaking opening of War. He has been put on the back burner for many years due to lack of proper blockbuster films and even openings. Some of his previous flicks were shockers on their first day.

Now, Hrithik Roshan will have two back to back successful movies (Super30 being other) if War manages to hold well in the coming day. Even if it doesn’t as word of mouth might not be that positive, the opening day record does the needful for him.
