Bollywood films have huge market in Pakistan and when a Salman Khan’s film is coming, it is very common that it will steal the limelight from other movies. So, the Pakistan filmmakers and producers are concerned.
It’s because ‘Tubelight‘ is going to hit theaters on Eid, the biggest festival season in Pakistan. The films made in Pakistan will have to suffer and hence they want to stop ‘Tubelight’ from releasing in Pakistan. Law also forbids release of Indian films on Muslim festival days in Pakistan.
The filmmakers are ready to go to the court to stop ‘Tubelight’. The craze for Bollywood is immense in Pakistan and there is a growing unrest among the Pakistani producers against the Bollywood movies. They are threatening the government to stall the release of their films if Salman Khan’s film comes to theaters on Eid.
