Katrina Kaif is one of those heroines who has a pan-Indian fan following and anything someone says to belittle her because she happens to be a woman wouldn’t be spared by her fans. Now, Bollywood top director Rohit Shetty is facing the heat from Katrina’s fans.
In one of his recent interviews, he belittled her saying that nobody would be watching her when there are three heroes aka Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh on the screen. It was about a shot in the trailer for his upcoming multi-starrer ‘Sooryavanshi‘.
Naturally, Katrina’s fans found it as a sexist remark and started trolling him brutally for telling her that he wouldn’ retake the shot as no one wouldn’t be watching her when there are three heroes and a blast happening in the backdrop. Both the question and the response from the interview were said to have been removed.
Well, Katrina came to the rescue of her director saying that his comments were taken out of the context. She also said that the director was always there for her and his comments were misunderstood. If she has no problem with Rohit Shetty’s comments, then, maybe, the trolling might stop.
