Biopics have never been out of the trend in Bollywood and recently, this trend is witnessing a steady uprise. We watched a few biopic last year and a few are about to start in the coming days. Among them, one is the latest addition.
A biopic on the life of the ace cricketer Kapil Dev focussing on the 1983 World Cup win against the West Indies is going to be dealt. This biopic has got an interesting title and it’s ’83’. Bollywood young hero Ranveer Singh is going to play the celebrated Kapil Dev’s role who changed the facet of Indian cricket, after the win.
Besides ’83’, we have one more biopic with a top hero. Hrithik Roshan is going to essay the role of the famous mathematician Anand Kumar. It’s like raining biopics in the Bollywood. There are biopics like one on Saina Nehwal, another on Abhinav Bindra and one more on the life of Balbir Singh are in the making.
