When a terrific dancer like Shahid Kapoor is said to be featuring in the remix of a 90s crazy song, one expects it to be on par with the original as Prabhu Deva featured in the original. The music single video of the modern version of ‘Urvashi Urvashi’ is out featuring Shahid Kapoor and the latest sensation Kiara Advani.
If one wants wants to know how to ruin a crazy song from the yesteryear chartbusters’ list, one must watch this video. The way it was contrived wasn’t looking good. Prabhu Deva was like the live wire with a lot of rustic flavor and mannerisms in the original song from ‘Premikudu’. Especially, he brought a new sensation with his flexible body and dance moves.
Though Shahid Kapoor is also a terrific dancer, the entire idea of the song and the theme couldn’t create the magic. Kiara Advani is good and we know that she can dance well. Both of them are looking good together. But, right from the lyrics, the pronunciation of singer Yo Yo Honey Singh to the picturisation concept; the remix music video didn’t live up to the original. Sad!
