The Jungle Book is a major winner at the box office in India and it needs no special mention at this point. In the process of its stunning run it is all set to embarrass Bollywood says to trade reports.
First of all the film has collected nearly 75 Cr in its first week itself which is the biggest first week of the year surpassing all Bollywood movies released this year so far. It has crossed the lifetime collections of all critically acclaimed hits too barring Airlift, which also happens to be biggest hit of the year.
Looking at the trend on its eight say the trade is expecting The Jungle Book to cross Airlift in its full run. This, despite the release of a big film like Fan starring Shah Rukh Khan is seen as an embarrassment of sorts in Bollywood circles.
