The second day has shown growth further, suggesting a segment has liked it. The third is expected to grow further and bring in a healthy weekend total.
The weekend performance assures that Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavadhan is not a commercial failure. However, it will be the numbers in the weekday, which will determine where the movie headed. The subject still holds a limited appeal. It is the reason why the jump has not been huge, even though it was there.
