When ‘Baaghi 2’ opened to mixed talk and poor reviews, the movie was written off as a flop. Surprisingly, it’s running towards crossing Rs. 150 crore mark and will soon be one of the biggest grosser in Bollywood besides ‘Baahubali 2’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
For the uninitiated, ‘Baaghi 2’ is the free-make of Telugu film ‘Kshanam’. Unlike the Telugu movie that received good reviews and positive word of mouth from the opening shows, ‘Baaghi 2’ was expected to turn a disaster. ‘Tiger Shroff’s breathtaking stunts did the magic and soon the film crossed Rs. 100 crores.
Now, it will be racing towards Rs. 200 crore mark after reaching the coveted 150 crore mark. However, this is the third week and therefore, it might not be possible. But, one never knows. ‘Tiger Shroff teamed up with his alleged girlfriend Disha Patani for the first time and their on-screen pairing had been one of the curiosity factors that helped the movie.
