Post the phenomenal success of the Baahubali movies, more prominent film industries across India are making big-budget epic spectacles. In Bollywood, the number has increased in the recent past. Such is the state that within a month, the industry will see two historical arriving in cinemas. We recently saw the trailer of one of those films, Panipat, and now we have another, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior.
Just like the title suggests, the historical starring Ajay Devgan in the lead has also been under the radar. For a long time, many assumed that the movie was shelved as well. It is only recently when the promotions started to take off; the movie lovers were convinced of its arrival.
The trailer is out now, and it lives up to the initial expectations set at its launch. The visuals are fantastic and make it a big-screen event flick. The casting looks perfect with the presence of names like Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Jagapathy Babu and others.
The movie is about the legendary conquering of the fort of Kondhana by Tanaji Malusare. It was renamed as Sinhagad, on his daredevil leading of the army. The Battle of Sinhagad is now rechristened and presented as India’s first surgical strike to the latest generation.
