This is the age in Indian Cinema wherein the filmmakers’ splash in Crores of Rupees making Grand films and later struggle to recover them. There are instances wherein the makers do not even recover their monies despite the movies getting good talk.
But then, Taapsee seems to have a solution to this problem. The actress intelligently chooses film subjects based on social issues. The films are being made on shoe-string budgets. The subjects involve enough publicity and promotions before and after the release. That’s not over.
The majority of the film budgets are recovered from the sale of Digital rights and there are very fewer stakes on the theatrical business. Despite the movie’s performance at the Box Office, the producer is on a safe side. As a result, the actress is getting back to back films.
