Many times, artists complain that Award Ceremonies in Bollywood aren’t genuine and awards mostly go to those actors and technicians who can give the event high TRPs with their onstage performances.
Proving these allegations right, Taapsee was ignored in almost all the awards’ events for the year 2016 and her stellar performance in the critically acclaimed film ‘Pink’ went totally unnoticed in the eyes of the awards’ shows organisers.
But, the actress laughs at being ignored nonchalantly and is happy that she was embraced by the audiences for the role she essayed in ‘Pink’. She doesn’t want to weigh the love of the audiences with the awards. No awards don’t mean that her work and the message in the movie didn’t reach the audiences. Well, Taapsee has got a point.
