Biopics made on the lives of sports personalities are the never-ending charm for Bollywood makers. Amidst scores of biopics made in the recent past, one more Biopic is in the making. It’s on the life of Sandeep Singh, former captain of Indian National Hockey team.
Taapsee Pannu is playing the female protagonist who is also a hockey player while Diljith Dosanj, famous Punjabi Singer is playing the role of Sandeep Singh. The actress who trained herself to play hockey is excited to essay the role and join the shoot of the film happening in Shahbad, Punjab, her home ground.
She has gone through proper training for her role as a hockey player. The biopic is said to be a love story which is titled ‘Soorma’. Seems interesting as we see many biopics on the struggles, concentrating less on love angles. This one must be a different one as Taapsee is known to select different scripts.
