There are lot of rumors about how Sushant Singh Rajput died. While some claim his Girl Friend, Rhea Chakroborty abeted the sucide while others say there are some political involvement. Moreover, Maharashtra and Bihar Police are at loggerheads over jurisdictional issues in the case.
Central Government had approved CBI Probe on the insistence of Bihar Government and now, the Supreme Court upheld the decision. The Mumbai police have now been asked to hand over all evidence collected to the investigating agency.
Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. The Mumbai Police said it was suicide and had been investigating whether he was suffering from depression. A month after that, his father, KK Singh filed a case in Bihar accusing Rhea and her family of cheating his son financially and mentally harassing him.
