A film starring one of the country’s biggest Superstar in supporting role is releasing this week and not many are aware of it. Would you believe it?
The film is nothing but Dear Zindagi. It stars Alia Bhatt, a hot favorite among the urban youth crowd in the lead and Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan in supporting role as a life coach. It is slated to hit the screens this Friday but the buzz on the film is still at a very low level. Lack of exciting promos and the current issue that the country is facing are seen as the reason for this remarkably poor buzz.
Still, the trade is hopeful that the presence of star along with a possible good word of mouth might do the trick as far as opening is concerned. The confidence shown on content is courtesy of the director Gauri Shinde who had previously made the critical and commercial success English Vinglish that marked the comeback of Sridevi. Will Shinde be able to surprise again?
