The star director has been actively doing his part as a celebrity in helping as many people as he can during the pandemic situation. His efforts, particularly concerning the police officers on the line of duty, are winning appreciation from everyone.
Recently, Rohit Shetty has helped provide 11 hotels with unlimited occupancy in Mumbai. It is to the on-duty personnel who are working day and night on the streets and protecting us from corona spreading. None other than Mumbai’s Commissioner of Police (CP), Shri Param Bir Singh lauded the star director.
Professionally, Rohit Shetty is one of the earliest and worst hits of the pandemic. His mega film Sooryavanshi was supposed to hit cinemas in the last week of March. The ultra biggie featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Besides them, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be seen in cameo appearances. The movie is now expected to arrive for Diwali, which looks unlikely, though.
