This was an unexpected twist for ‘Saaho‘. The makers of the action thriller had averted a major multi-lateral clash with several Bollywood movies by postponing the release date from Independence Day to 30th August.
However, another clash cropped up eventually and that means, the Saaho girl turns out to be a threat for Saaho. The makers of Shraddha Kapoor’s another Bollywood ‘Chhichhore’ had announced that they are also coming on 30th August.
So, it would be Shraddha Vs Shraddha unless there might be any last minute changes. ‘Chhichhore’ was directed by ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari and obviously, there are big expectations on it.
Going by the promo material, it’s going to be a different movie and Nitesh Tiwari at the helm of the things is surely a big plus for the movie. Our Telugu guy Naveen Polishetty of ‘Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya’ fame is going to make his Bollywood debut with this movie.
All said and done, for the pan-Indian audiences, ‘Saaho’ will be Prabhas’ movie after Baahubali. Shraddha might be there in both the movies, ‘Saaho’ would primarily ride on Prabhas’ name, while ‘Chhichhore’ on the director’s name. Quite interesting!
