For a while now, rumours have been floating about Shah Rukh Khan’s role in the film ‘Dear Zindagi.’ The film starring Alia Bhatt as the female lead has four heroes opposite her. For that very reason, it was being assumed that Shah Rukh’s role would be nothing more than a ten minute cameo.
Although Shah Rukh Khan did come out to say that his character has a full-fledged role in the film, the fans seem to believe otherwise. Finally, director Gauri Shinde has come out to set the story straight. In her own words, the film is incomplete without SRK. ‘Dear Zindagi’ is all about the story of Kaira and Jehangir played respectively by Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan.
Shinde even said that viewers can expect at least an hour of SRK in the film and possibly even more. She clarified that although Alia is the protagonist, Shah Rukh’s role is pivotal to the plot.
