'Sarkar 3', 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' Sacrificed to Baahubali 2There is an idiom in the English language, ‘Nothing grows under the Banyan tree.’ True. ‘Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2‘ spread its branches like a huge banyan tree and any film, however big it might be, will look smaller than the Prabhas starrer.

Two Bollywood films aka ‘Sarkar 3’ featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ produced by reputed production house Yash Raj Films hit theaters this Friday and opened to a poor occupancy and mixed reviews pouring from all over.

‘Baahubali 2′ is still strong with 80% occupancy in the third week, while the new films could only score 10-15% of the occupancy in the theaters. It is learnt that the theaters’ owners were reluctant to give away theaters for the new releases and they are in a fear to lose ‘Baahubali 2’ if they divide their screens.

Moreover, the audiences aren’t done with ‘Baahubali 2’ yet and are also not in a mood to wait until the television premiere of the magnum opus. Even though the pirated versions are available, audiences are preferring to watch it on the big screen, not to miss the big screen experience.
