With the box-office collections and the tremendous response Bollywood film ‘Sultan’ received from the audiences, it stands as the biggest blockbuster of the year. This film will be Salman Khan’s 3rd film to enter the Rs.300 crore club.
Earlier, Salman’s two films ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ could touch the landmark of Rs.300 crore mark. However, the biggest regarding worldwide collections remains Aamir Khan starrer ‘pk’. Salman is doing performance oriented roles recently that are giving him huge mileage as an actor and in turn, his star image is helping the films immensely.
This is the 5th week for ‘Sultan’ which was released on the eve of Eid as per the sentiment of the star hero. ‘Sultan’ has revived the sport in some areas and people who love wrestling, but had given up practicing found an inspiration from the film. But entering Rs.300 crore club has not been very easy this time for Sultan though.
