The theatrical trailer of Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan’s Bharat is out. It is designed as an epic movie that traces the journey of the star playing the title role through the course of Indian Independence and since.
Before we get to the trailer, we have to talk about the director Ali Abbas Zafar. He is a huge Salman fan and presents the star that would be loved by scores of fans. Previously, he had made Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan which are among the star’s most loved outings and was successful commercially and critically.
Ali Abbas Zafar is trying to repeat the same with Bharat. It is the remake of a Korean movie Ode To My Father. The idea here seems to be a recreation of Bajarangi Bhaijaan, the biggest blockbuster success of Salman Khan. However, the tone of the trailer looks a lot over the top reminiscent of the masala outings of the actor which is a far cry from the original. Does that mean the movie has been suitably adapted for the Indian audience? That is the biggest concern right now.
