Here is a first of its kind universe planned in Indian cinema. Just like the Avengers team, one of India’s top commercial director Rohit Shetty has designed a cop universe in Bollywood.
The idea for a shared cop universe came during the final days of Rohit Shetty’s last flick Simmba. He soon put things in motion, and that’s how Sooryavanshi came into being. Today (May 6th), the third police story of the cop universe, Sooryavanshi is on sets. Before the shooting commences, the three stars of the three ‘cop’ films posed for a pic together with the director and producer.
In the image below, we can see each star holding the clapboard of the films they have done with Rohit Shetty. On the left is Ranveer Singh, who was seen in Simmba, in the middle is Ajay Devgn who did Singham and Singham Returns, and finally on the right is Akshay Kumar who is all set to commence his first collaboration Sooryavanshi. Behind them is Rohit Shetty on the left and producer Karan Johar on the right. Sooryavanshi is going to arrive as an Eid gift in 2020. It stars Katrina Kaif in the female lead.
