Bollywood young hero, Ranbir Kapoor’s Friday release ‘Jagga Jasoos‘ opening has been very disappointing with a low start and the collections nowhere near the expectations, despite the pre-release hype on the movie.
Compared to Friday, Saturday was a little better as the film collected Rs. 11 crore plus and the total collections crossed the Rs. 20 crore figure. However, the losses to the exhibitors seem to be unavoidable with this pace of collections and occupancy.
The young hero’s statement that he would repay the exhibitors if his film flops and if he makes money despite being a flop has become the talk of the B’town. Will he keep his word and really pay for the losses like his legendary grandfather used to do when his films flopped and caused losses for others? Let’s see. They say, ‘Blood is thicker than water.’ Will Ranbir prove the proverb right?
