Shilpa Shetty is a popular face among the Bollywood audience. She has also done a handful of films in Tollywood like Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya. The actress’ businessman husband Raj Kundra hit headlines over his arrest alleged involvement in the adult film industry.
Mumbai Crime Branch joint commissioner opened up on Raj Kundra’s nexus and his operations. Raj Kundra started this 18-months back and he used to earn Rs 2-3 lakhs per day, however, during the lockdown, the adult film racket grew rapidly which made Raj Kundra earn Rs 6-8 lakh daily, said the official.
Raj Kundra used the app HotShot to run his pornography racket. As Kundra cannot upload such explicit material on the app in India, he colluded with his UK-based brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi’s company Kenrin Limited.
Kundra used to transfer all the videos to London based company who then used to upload those explicit videos. So far, the officials have found Rs 7.5 crores in various accounts are trying to ascertain the details of the various transactions to know his exact earnings.
Meanwhile, YouTuber Puneet Kaur among others has leveled charges on Kundra of luring her for his app. Currently, Raj Kundra has been remanded in custody till July 23.
