Shah Rukh Khan without any doubt is one of the biggest stars in India. Unfortunately, his box office run, off late has been the complete opposite to this standing while some of his contemporary stars continue to dominate.
The reason many believe is a lack of “desi” mass movies and the stars obsession with “international” quality films and making. This has led to quite many films underperforming. Finally, after a long gap, he seems to have realized the mistake and come up with Raees a film truly aimed at his mass fans, religiously aligning as well. The trailer needless to say works due to the mass factor. The star presence and dialogues are good but one gets a feeling that the trailer has been cut deliberately to give it an overtly mass feel.
