Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ that is slated to be slated to be released this 15th April was certified with an U/A. But the superstar’s fans and the makers are not happy with the way Censor Board had chopped off a scene by 50 percent.
It is earnt that the scene had prolonged sequence in which Shahrukh Khan’s character as Gaurav is beaten up brutally in a police station lock up. The prolonged violence didn’t go well with the censor board and hence the suggested cut.
Besides this, 6 other verbal cuts were reportedly suggested as the makers have used cuss words in some scenes. This shows that even a superstar’s film can’t escape cuts if does not comply to the present norms and thought processes of the members of the board.
